Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Saturday predicted that the current situation in Nigeria would soon change for better.
Speaking at the annual thanksgiving service of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria which held at the Jesus Power Crusaders International Assembly in Jos on Saturday, Osinbajo noted that “Nigeria is a great country with huge potentials which needs to be nurtured and built by its citizens”.
He said though the current challenges were huge, there was biblical support to the fact that things would change for the better in no distant time.
He urged Nigerians to speak well of their country and not to confess negatively.
He commended PFN for organising the thanksgiving service, which he described as an opportunity to recognise and appreciate God’s goodness for the nation in times of difficulty, saying this makes God to do more.
PFN President, Bishop Wale Oke, in his sermon, said the challenges Nigeria was facing were prevalent and daunting, but would overcome according to God’s promises.
