Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, said he has realised his mistakes and is in talks with aggrieved party members.

Atiku disclosed this on Saturday, shortly after opening a campaign office donated to him by Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, PDP chieftain in Gombe State.

The former vice president said the talk is to resolve the lingering crisis rocking the main opposition party.

Atiku said the PDP would go into 2023 stronger, and as the oldest party, it stands a chance to win next year’s presidential election.

“We have realised that we made mistakes and we are working to correct those mistakes and we believe that Nigerians have trust in us.”

“Nigerians can compare our performances and the performance of our opponents and the difference is clear and our records can speak for us,” Atiku said.

He added, “I’m still talking to aggrieved members of the party and I believe at the end of the day we will work together.”
