Inter Milan on Monday, clinched the Serie A title thanks to a 2-1 victory over AC Milan.
This has created an unassailable lead at the top of the league.
Goals from Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thuram gave Inter a 17-point advantage over closest challengers Milan.
They have now secured their 20th league crown with five matches of the season remaining.
Before Inter’s title win was confirmed, tensions boiled over at the San Siro with three red cards shown in stoppage time.
Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria were sent off for AC Milan, while Denzel Dumfries was dismissed for Inter.
But the late aggravation could not spoil Inter’s celebrations as Inzagi claimed his first league title as a head coach.
