According to him, if Nigeria is not working as a country, is it better for people to go their different ways.

He stated this in a video circulating online on Thursday.

In the video, Igboho, seen at an airport in the United Kingdom, attributed the loss of patriotism to issues such as corruption, insecurity, and a struggling economy.

The separatist argued that if Nigeria cannot function as a united nation, various ethnic groups should be allowed to go their separate ways.

He said: “Even at the airport, there is no security. Your belongings can be stolen from your bag in Nigerian airports. These are some of the things that discourage people from being proud of Nigeria.

“Such experiences make us hesitant to identify as Nigerians. That’s why we advocate for separation. If Nigeria isn’t working, it’s better we go our separate ways.

“Our Yoruba youths, who have traveled the world, are equipped with knowledge and experience. When they return to Yoruba land, they will use it to build and transform the nation into one that mirrors Europe.”
