Charles Awuzie an astute member of the Forbes business Council and the Co-Founder at Transhuman Coin has made shocking revelations about Atiku and his failed marriage with his estranged wife Jennifer Douglas.

It has been rumoured that while Atiku lived in massive Wealth, his Anambra State born wife who allegedly assisted him to move millions of dollars to the USA was living in debt.

Jennifer iwenjiora Douglas Abubakar, Atiku’s estranged wife lived in debts in the USA even while her husband was a Billionaire Vice President.

On 17th June 2004, while still married to Nigeria’s then vice president, Jennifer allegedly used their Potomac Montgomery mansion as a collateral for a loan from Citibank. Again in 2009, she used the same property as collateral for another loan from Eagle Bank.

The million dollar question everyone is asking is Why Should the Wife of A so called Billionaire Receive Court Summons and even Judgments for small loans?

Well, this may be the answer:

From the word go, Atiku never treated her equally with his other wives. People who were close to the marriage believe that Jennifer’s Igbo roots and the “can do spirit” unsettled Atiku who wanted all his wives to be dependent on him.

In February 2022, Jennifer hinted that their marriage collapsed because of long standing differences including her refusal to abandon her children overseas to join in his presidential campaign trail while neglecting the children who she said were already suffering from absentee father syndrome.

She said: “The core reason for the divorce was disagreement over my continued stay in the United Kingdom, to look after my children and several other long-standing issues. I needed to play the role of a mother at this time to the children who have gone through the absence of both father and mother growing up; especially, with the passage of my elder sister who used to look after them”.

Following the collapse of their marriage, Jennifer was depossessed of her home in Nigeria. “When I asked him, where will the kids and I stay when we come to Nigeria?’, he told me that since I am the one that asked for a divorce, I should find a place to stay, and subsequently, I moved out.” She added.

A background check on public records show that Jennifer Iwenjiora lived in debts and defaulted in repayment of her loans. Our findings reveal that while her husband was still vice president, Jennifer iwenjiora was in courts to answer to why she couldn’t repay loans she took on the house.

In 2018, the house was sold leaving her homeless in the USA. She moved to the UK where she currently lives with her children.
