The Football Association (FA) has confirmed it is investigating an “incident” that happened during the second half of Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Liverpool on Sunday.
Bukayo Saka scored twice including a late penalty as the Gunners took maximum points at the Emirates.
However, during the second half, Jordan Henderson and Gabriel Magalhaes were involved in a heated verbal altercation, after which the Arsenal defender spoke with referee Michael Oliver.
Oliver then went over to the touchline to speak with both Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta before the game continued.
Henderson then approached Gabriel after the game and spoke again with the Arsenal centre-back.
When pressed on the incident after the match, both Klopp and Arteta refused to elaborate.
But the FA announced on Sunday evening that it is now reviewing the incident with Olivier and his match officials.
