AC Milan winger, Samuel Chukwueze scored the winner as they defeated Newcastle United 2-1 in their final Champions League group fixture on Wednesday night.
The result means the Magpies finished bottom of the group and exit Europe entirely like Manchester United.
At half-time, Eddie Howe’s men were heading through to the last 16 as Joelinton put them in front.
But goals from Christian Pulisic and Chukwueze turned the game on its head.
Had they held on, they would have gone through to the last 16 as PSG drew with Dortmund.
AC Milan’s win wasn’t enough for them to stay in the Champions League.
PSG’s draw puts them into the last 16 as an unseeded team. Dortmund go through as group winners.
