According to Capt. Augustinah Selepe of the Tshwane Police, eight male and two female suspects are alleged to have been involved in the robbery.

“Suspects entered the store pretending to be customers.

“They then began pointing firearms at the staff members and ordered them to move to the canteen.

“After demanding the safe keys, the suspects took one of the staff members into the store room with them to open the safe,” she said.

“The suspects were using two cars, a bronze Citroen and a white Mazda,” added Selepe.

According to a statement by CSI security, a call for backup at the Incredible Connection store was received at around 18:00.
