The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed the postponement of the conduct of the governorship and houses of assembly elections to March 18.
The elections were initially fixed to hold on March 11 across 24 states.
INEC took the decision at a meeting of the national commissioners on Wednesday night.
