Terrorists in Kwara State have released a disturbing video showing a popular Point-of-Sale (POS) agent, Yman, and two children being tortured in captivity, while demanding ₦50 million ransom.

The video, which is circulating online shows the visibly frail victims being flogged by unmasked gunman in a forest hideout. The captives cried in pain, pleading with the government and public to save them.

Yman was abducted in late June 2025 during a series of kidnappings in Kwara North. He and the children have now been held for over a month.

Relatives of Yman who spoke to newsmen say the kidnappers have taken over Yman’s WhatsApp and TikTok accounts, using them to post videos and send direct messages showing him weeping and begging for food while being mocked and tortured.

The relatives also revealed the kidnapper has featured unmasked in at least seven videos, showing no fear of exposure. They called on the government to intervene and secure his release.

As at the time of filing this report, security agencies have yet to comment on the video.
