Galatasaray striker, Alvaro Morata has rated his teammate, Victor Osimhen, as one of the best strikers in the world.
Morata and Osimhen were both on target in Galatasaray’s 5-1 thumping of Eyupspor at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium on Sunday.
Substitute Morata grabbed a brace while Osimhen registered a goal and an assist.
Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray from Serie A club, Napoli has delivered the goods for the Yellow and Reds on a regular basis this season following captain Mauro Icardi’s long-term absence due to injury.
The Nigeria international has recorded 31 goals and seven assists in 36 outings across all competitions for Okan Buruk’s side.
Morata expressed his admiration for the 26-year-old after the clash with Eyupspor.
“Osimhen is a great person and one of the best centre forwards in the world,” Morata was quoted by the club’s official website.
