  • Reality TV star and younger sister of Toni Braxton, Traci Braxton, has died. She was 50.
  • Braxton’s husband, Kevin Surratt, confirmed the singer died on Saturday after a private battle with cancer.
  • In a statement on Twitter, Toni Braxton called her younger sister “a bright light, a wonderful daughter, an amazing sister, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a respected performer.”

    Braxton’s husband, Kevin Surratt, confirmed the singer died on Saturday after a private battle with cancer.

    “We have come to a time where we must inform the public that after a year of privately undergoing a series of treatment for Esophageal cancer, our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory,” Surratt told TMZ.

    Braxton appeared in the family’s reality show, Braxton Family Values. She was an actress, best known for Sinners Wanted, and appeared in There’s a Stranger in my House and Chaaw.
