Tinubu appoints Sawyer, Akinfala to manage students’ loan

President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr Frederick Femi Akinfala as part of the management team Nigerian Education Loan Funds ( NELFUND).

In a statement,President Tinubu said NELFUND was created to deliver “sustainable higher education abd critical skill development for all Nigerian students and the youths”.

Dr Femi Akinfala,a former university don at University Of Lagos previously served as a director of research at The Federal Inland Revenue Service,FIRS.

Others on the team as announced by special media adviser to the president Ajuri Ngalale are Mr Akintunde Sawyee MD/CEO and Mr Mustapha Iyal,executive director operation of the Fund.
