It was a sad night on the 27th of April at a bar owned by a Nigerian in Umbilo Durban.
Three unknown gunmen walked into the bar and started shooting sporadically.
By the time the gunmen walked into their getaway car, six people lay on the floor with gunshot wounds.
A Nigerian by the name Cornelius Chidiebere was confirmed dead on the spot, a South African lady and a Burundian while three others all Nigerians Ikechukwu Akukwe, Onwubiko Uzoma and Ejike Gabriel were rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition where they are fighting for their lives.
At this stage, the motive for the shooting is still unknown while investigation continues
