Canada

In the MLS, Super Eagles youngster Sunusi Ibrahim grabbed his first goal of 2024 to power Montreal to a thrilling 3-2 win over Inter Miami.

In the absence of the injured Lionel Messi, Inter Miami still paraded Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba, who scored the home team’s second goal.

However, Ibrahim scored his side’s third goal in the 78th minute barely one minute after coming off the bench to replace Matías Cóccaro and hand all three points to Montreal.

Czech Republic

In the Czech Liga, Kenneth Ikugar assisted Zlín’s 90th-minute equaliser to help them claim a share of the spoils with a 2-2 draw at České Budějovice.

Igoh Ogbu shoved aside the disappointment of missing out on a Super Eagles call-up to post a solid display in defence as Slavia Prague cruised to a 4-0 victory at home to Teplice.

England

In the Premier League, Taiwo Awoniyi was a second-half substitute as Nottingham Forest stumbled to a 1-0 defeat at Brighton.

At the John Smith’s Stadium, Semi Ajayi came off the bench to help West Bromwich Albion seal a convincing 4-1 away win at Huddersfield Town.

Spain

Rasheedat Ajibade continued her impressive form for Atletico Madrid as she supplied the assist to the winning goal in her side’s 1-0 victory against Sporting de Huelva in the Primera División Femenina.

Ajibade was named Atletico’s Player of the Month for February following her excellent displays.

Benin City-born Cedric Omoigui opened the scoring for Ibiza after only two minutes, but his side was forced to a 2-2 draw by Algeciras in the Primera División RFEF.

Italy

In Serie A, Samuel Chukwueze played the final 30 minutes as Noah Okafor set up Christian Pulisic for AC Milan’s winning goal in their 1-0 triumph over Empoli.

Super Eagles defender Tyronne Ebuehi was an unused substitute in the encounter.

Ademola Lookman featured as Atalanta fought out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Juventus.

Germany

Nathan Tella scored his fifth league goal of the season to power Bayer Leverkusen to a record-extending 2-0 Bundesliga win over visiting Wolfsburg.

Elsewhere, Kevin Akpoguma and Hoffenheim were far from their best as they succumbed to a 3-1 loss at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Greece

In the Super League 2, Abiola Dauda was the standout performer for Ionikos as he scored the two goals that inspired his side to a slim 2-1 win against Egaleo inside the Stadio Kallitheas Grigóris Lamprákis in Athens.

Dauda, 36, netted his first goal in the 72nd minute to cancel out Ntaviotis’s 23rd-minute opener.

The former Red Star Belgrade star then struck the winning goal in stoppage time for his 10th league goal in 21 appearances.

India

Rilwan Hassan assisted the only goal of the encounter that propelled Sreenidi Deccan to a 1-0 away win at Delhi FC in the I-League.

United States

Also in the MLS, Tani Oluwaseyi claimed the assist to Minnesota United’s 95th-minute winning goal in their exciting 3-2 victory at Orlando City.
