Soccernet.ng kept tabs on dozens of matches potentially featuring Nigerian footballers across different leagues worldwide on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

Armenia

Christopher Boniface scored his eighth goal of the season in the eighth minute of FK Van’s crucial 1 – 0 Premier League victory against West Armenia inside the Charentsavan City Stadium.

FK Van will need to win their last two league games and hope results elsewhere go their way to avoid facing the relegation playoffs.

Yusuf Otubanjo moved to within two goals of the league’s top scorer after he scored from the spot to bag his 20th goal this term in Pyunik’s 3-0 win at BKMA.

The veteran forward was the joint-top goalscorer with 17 goals last season.

Czech Republic

In the Czech Liga, Victor Olatunji and Sparta Prague took a massive step towards retaining their league title after securing a key 2 – 1 win over Baník Ostrava.

Egypt

Former Rivers United star Godwin Okwwara came to El Geish’s rescue as he smashed home a 72nd-minute equaliser to help the hosts secure a thrilling 1-1 Premier League draw with Ismaily.

Russia

Victor Moses featured from the bench as Spartak Moscow crashed out of the Russian Cup following their tough 1-0 semifinal loss to Baltika inside the Rostec Arena in Kaliningrad.

Scotland

Cyriel Dessers netted his 16th Premiership goal of the campaign as Rangers FC bounced back from a two-goal deficit to hammer a 5-2 walloping down the throat of Dundee at the Ibrox Stadium.

Interestingly, Dessers only managed six goals in 26 Serie A appearances for Cremonese last season.

Only once during his career as the Super Eagles forward found the net more than this term – when he scored 22 goals in 36 games for NAC Breda in the Eerste Divisie during the 2016/17 season.

Switzerland

Francis Momoh opened the scoring – his first goal in three months – for Grasshoppers to set them on the road to a 2 – 0 Super League win over Yverdon Sport, boosting their survival hopes.
