In a post shared on the X platform, he revealed his suspicion that his boss was planning to terminate his employment.

A Nigerian man has reportedly lost his job over his support for President Bola Tinubu amid the current economic hardship in the nation.

In a post shared on the X platform, he revealed his suspicion that his boss was planning to terminate his employment.

Addressing his followers, he wrote:

“Dear Bola Tinubu Supporters🙏 The CEO of our company is fully Atikulated 👌 They’re trying to fire me from my job because I support Bola Tinubu. If it’s a fight they want, it’s a fight they will get. If you see this tweet, pray for Dawakiii.”


Shortly after, he posted an update, announcing that he had indeed been dismissed from his job over his support for Tinubu.

His statement read:

“Lost my job today because I support Bola Tinubu. I’ve been with the company for over 5.5 years, and this is one of the worst things that can happen to a person.  

“Got called into work today at 11:30 am for a mandatory meeting where they fired me, with no notice🙏”
