Journalist Sam Omatseye alleges Peter Obi’s supporters are threatening his life over an article published about the presidential candidate titled “Obi-tuary”

Journalist Sam Omatseye has alleged that supporters of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, are after his life.

He made the allegation on his Twitter handle hours after he published an article on The Nation newspaper with the title ”Obi-tuary” and attached it with a photo of Peter Obi.

Some of Peter Obi’s supporters found the article offensive and attacked him online. Some of them went on to put up a photo of Sam Omatseye announcing his obituary.

In a tweet he shared on his handle, Omatseye alleged that some of the supporters of the presidential candidate are after his life. He wrote;

”Mr. Peter Obi, call your supporters to order. They are calling and issuing death threats. If anything happens to me, you will be held responsible!!!!”
