A section of Nigerians have been wondering why the former Governor of Lagos State can not point to anyone as his classmate while in the institution.

Similarly, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, approached a court in the US, seeking access to the credentials of Tinubu at Chicago University.

However, according to a video clip making the rounds on social media, Ogunsanya, during an interview with TVC News, affirmed that the president graduated the same year from the University in 1979.

He said, “We met in the school, Chigaco State University and we were in the same department, College of Accounting Business and Administrative with a major in Accounting, and we were in the same class together, and we graduated.

“He did attend the University and graduated in 1979 in the same year as I did. I am here to testify that he attended University and was a good student.

“I’m here with my Diploma for the world to see. We graduated together from the university, and I just want to set the record straight, not for any gain or favour”.
