The Director General, Obi-Datti Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe, has said he never called Peter Obi of the Labour Party a baby presidential aspirant.

He had earlier been quoted to have said, “I can’t join issues with a baby presidential aspirant who doesn’t know his left and right.”

According to him, the quote is a lie and the work of demons who are mischief makers.

He said, “This is a season of lies, fabrications and disinformation. First, they claimed I said, ‘I can’t join issues with a baby presidential aspirant…’

“This is ridiculous and obviously pure mischief. unfortunately, we are smarter than these demons and as God liveth grand failure awaits them.”

Meanwhile, Okupe was earlier reported to have been suspended by the Labour Party for failure to pay party dues.

Rubbishing the report, the party tweeted that the suspension was null and void.

“Suspension Of Doyin Okupe, Unconstitutional, Null and Void, Labour Party Declares,” the tweet read.

Meanwhile, the Labour Party has continued its votes’ protection plan within the 19 northern states this week with a training conference in Mambayya House in Kano.

The training dubbed Northern Nigeria vote canvassers’ conference draw participants from the entire northern states according to the LPPCC Spokesperson, Dr Yunusa Tanko who is the lead promoter of the initiative and Chaired by the Labour Party National Secretary Alhaji Ibrahim Farooq Umar representing the National Chairman Barr Julius Abure.
