More revelations continue to surface following the alleged demise of Davido‘s first son, Ifeanyi David Adeleke.

Oba Adedokun Abolarin, The Orangun of Oke-Ila in Osun State shared via his official Facebook account that it was Davido’s late mum, Dr. Mrs. Veronica Adeleke who rescued his own son from drowning.

According to Oba Adedokun, this happened over 25 years ago. He details that he is, indeed saddened that no one could pay Davido’s late mom back in his own coin, by rescuing her grandson.

In his tribute, the royal father, Oba Abolarin recounted how singer Davido’s mum, Veronica rescued his own son from a swimming pool 25 years ago.

“So sad, it was Davido’s mummy, late Dr. Mrs. Veronica Adeleke that rescued my own son inside the swimming pool, some twenty-five years ago. I am sad. What Veronica did for my son years back, nobody, I mean nobody to play that same role for Veronica’s grandson, Ifeanyi!” Oba Abolarin revealed.

He concluded by saying “Who are we to query God, may his soul rest in peace and may Veronica’s soul continue to rest in peace, fantastic woman!”

Recall, the alleged demise of Ify Adeleke happened on the 31st of October, 2022 after the 3-year-old drowned in their family swimming pool.
