The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday, recalled how the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential running mate, Rotimi Amaechi, testified in church that after God it was him, Wike.

Wike disclosed that Amaechi testified in church of his instrumentality in his (Amaechi) becoming the governor of Rivers State.

Speaking during his monthly media chat, the minister accused Amaechi of spending $10 million to fumigate Rivers State while he was governor.

The minister said, “How did he (Amaechi) become a governor? Something happened, and he went to Ghana, and I was the person in charge of the matter to return him as governor. In fact, he gave a testimony in church that, after God, it’s Wike.

“Now, he has now turned to say I was his subordinate. No problem. An ordinary Nigerian can ask the same question. It’s not about being subordinate. What is that? I gave the information.

“Amaechi spent $10 million to fumigate Rivers State. He used $39 million to build a hospital, but there’s no hospital.

“He sold the gas turbines for $308 million and wasted the money through BDC. And he’s saying you’re my subordinate. What nonsense is that? Go and answer the question.”
