Rivers: Fubara knows what to do if he doesn’t want impeachment – Lere Olayinka

Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Nyesom Wike, says Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, knows exactly what to do if he does not want impeachment.

Olayinka said this on Wednesday in an interview on ‘The Morning Brief’, a programme on Channels Television monitored by DAILY POST.

He was speaking about the ongoing political tension in Rivers where the State Assembly initiated impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara.

He said, “It is not Wike who is behind Fubara’s impeachment move but the House of Assembly.

“If Fubara doesn’t want the impeachment, he knows what to do. This is political navigation. He should know, and not to come and be weeping.”
