CHIDIMMA ADETSHINA STILL LEADING MISS UNIVERSE NIGERIA

The plus-sized model, Ufa Dania who is representing the Kwara State in Western Nigeria is currently on 15 631 votes at the time of publishing this article.

This is an improvement from the 7778 votes she received on Wednesday, 28 August.

Former Miss SA finalist, Chidimma Adetshina (Taraba State) is still leading the competition with 17 150 votes, while Edeifo Aikhuele (Miss Edo) is third with 13 716 votes.

Miss Kwara recently revealed to France 24 that she’s the first plus-sized woman to take part in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.

The Nigerian beauty queen, Ufa Dania says she wants to represent girls who have always been sidelined, as a dark-skinned, plus-size woman.

The 25-year-old adds that she also suffered online harassment because she’s a plus-sized model.

South Africans on social media claim they are supporting Miss Kwara because she was bullied for her looks.

Last kick of dying horse. We are now sweeping. By end of today she will be at 20000 votes. South Africans 🇿🇦 are savage. They made Chidima think she is gonna win Miss Universe Nigeria and took that away from her the same way her mother took someone's identity.

South Africans on this app are petty as hell 🤣

The good side of me wants to believe that you support Miss Kwara out of noble intentions to boost someone who was being bullied.

But… I know y’all are messy so I’m inclined to go with my naughty side and think you did it out of… pic.twitter.com/U0T1vx78DU
