In the Super Lig, Nigerian strikers showcased their scoring prowess as Ibrahim Olawoyin found the net for the fifth time this season, guiding Çaykur Rizespor Kulübü to a 3-1 home victory over Gaziantep FK.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru stole the spotlight for Hatayspor Kulübü, contributing a goal and an assist after coming on as a substitute, steering his side to an impressive 3-0 win against Samsunspor Kulübü.

Additionally, Bright Osayi-Samuel played a crucial role for Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü in their thrilling 3-2 triumph over Trabzonspor Kulübü at the Papara Park in Trabzon.

In other leagues, Nigerian players showcased their talents across the globe.

Raphael Onyedika impressed for Club Brugge KV despite their narrow 2-1 defeat to Sint-Truidense VV in the Jupiler Pro League in Belgium.

Wilfred Ndidi featured for Leicester City in their FA Cup clash against Chelsea, which ended in a 4-2 loss, while Kelechi Iheanacho remained an unused substitute.

Nathan Tella made a brief appearance for Bayer Leverkusen in their thrilling 3-2 away victory over Freiburg in the Bundesliga.

Hamzat Ojediran broke his scoring drought, netting his first league goal for Debreceni VSC in a resounding 5-1 win over Zalaegerszegi TE in Hungary.
