Napoli can’t catch a break, as after Victor Osimhen slammed Khivcha Kvaratskhelia’s agent, the Nigerian’s agent has also done the same.

Kvaratkshelia’s agent Mamuka Jugeli had stated in an interview yesterday that the Nigerian would leave Napoli to play in the Saudi Arabian league for only monetory reasons, but the Georgian winger will not operate out of financial need. Osimhen responded to this, lambasing Jugeli in an Instagram post.

It is now Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda who has spoken about Jugeli in a social media post of his own, stating that Kvaratskhelia’s agent should focus on his own affairs.

The chaos at Napoli continues.

“Everyone must look at his own home and have respect for other people’s work. It is not correct to talk about the future of players who do not represent themselves. Doing so creates problems and misunderstandings as well as unfortunate predictions worthy of a terrible fortune teller.”

Calenda further stated: “The alleged statements of the agent Mamuka Jugeli are serious, superficial and unacceptable. Furthermore they put my client Victor Osimhen in a bad light towards the Napoli fans without any reason or confirmation of reality. We have just signed a contract renewal and Victor’s only desire, besides the Africa Cup of Nations, is to help Napoli. Everything else is rubbish.”

Osimhen signed a new deal with Napoli recently but despite that, he has been linked with moves away from Napoli. Jugeli’s statements earlier stated that the Nigerian would move to Saudi Arabia despite him penning a new deal.

This escalates problems for Napoli, who are ninth in the table and the squad is currently in retreat.
