Controversial Twitter influencer Daniel Regha recently took to Twitter to voice his opinions, and this time, his target was the well-known musician Davido. In a Twitter thread that stirred some online discussions, Daniel Regha expressed his views on Davido’s activism and governance-related statements.

Regha claimed that Davido was what he termed a “convenient activist.” He insinuated that Davido’s public expressions of wanting good governance were not entirely sincere. The influencer further accused Davido of acting as if his family owned the state of Osun, a comment that followed some recent controversy involving Davido’s uncle and the Osun State governor.

IRegha noted that people had been calling out the Osun State governor for what they perceived as a poor performance, but Davido had not publicly addressed the matter. Regha went on to claim that the only thing that seemed to be practiced in the governance of Osun State was nepotism.

“Davido acts like his family owns Osun State & are entitled to rule; It’s nothing but a show of bad character. Someone is calling out Ademola’s poor performance as a governor, why not address or counter with facts? Let’s not forget the nepotism being practiced in his uncle’s govt. All that talk about wanting good governance was untrue, convenient activist.”

Recently, Regha has faced criticism for sharing on Twitter that he had crafted four boxers for himself using leftover Ankara materials. This announcement led to some online backlash, with individuals expressing their views on his choices.

Around a month ago, Regha made headlines by calling out artists for their perceived inaction in seeking justice for MOHBAD, a reference to a particular case. He pointed out that, despite significant developments in the MOHBAD case, only a few artists had been actively involved in pursuing justice for the individual involved. Regha highlighted that many others in the industry had remained notably silent on the matter.

On a lighter note, Regha garnered attention a couple of months ago by sharing a photo of a meal he had brought onto an airplane. He had chosen to reject the airline’s food and instead enjoyed a dish of yam and palm oil sauce while onboard.
