Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has declared that he is wary of Victor Osimhen ahead of his side’s encounter with Napoli tomorrow on matchday two of this season’s UEFA Champions League which is set to go down at the Stadi Diego Armando Maradona.

The Nigerian striker rose to prominence last season by helping Napoli scoop the Scudetto and also played a role in the Italian outfit reaching the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.

The 24-year-old bagged 5 goals in six games in his first season in the competition with the Naples-based club.

While the Nigerian forward did not score in the Italian side’s victory over Braga on matchday one, he registered an assist and with his potency in front of goal, Ancelloti is right to be wary of him.

The Los Blancos manager during his pre-match conference ahead of his side’s encounter with the Parthenopeans admitted  that he is wary of Osimhen and his teammate, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

“They are very good forwards who have really broken out in the last year, they have demonstrated their quality and shown they are top-level players.

“They have amazing talent with different characteristics. Kvaratskhelia is very strong one-on-one and Osimhen is very dangerous.” he told Real Madrid’s official website

The duo are Napoli’s most dangerous forwards and the 14-time European champions will have to keep them quiet so as to leave Italy unscathed.
