The tech enthusiast and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) revealed this in a Twitter post from his account on Tuesday.

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress has given an appointment to a former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba.

Garba has been appointed as the Deputy Director of the new media and member of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Election Management committee of Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC).

He took to Twitter to share the news on Tuesday and wrote:

“Dear Friends,

“I would like to notify you that I have been appointed as the deputy director of the New Media and Member of ICT and Election Management committee of the Independent Campaign Council (ICC).”

Garba made headlines earlier this year when he announced he was dumping the APC over the N100m price for the APC presidential nomination form.

He added that he does not believe that any young man in Nigeria has a future or model worthy of emulation for the benefit of Nigeria in APC.

“I believe the party has drifted so much from the original beliefs of its foundation to a something more cynical, undemocratic institution,” He wrote:

He went ahead to remove the APC flag from his office but a few days later, he backtracked and restored the party’s flag to his office.
