Radio Big Boy Onome Oyaide, popularly called Big Tyme dies

Rhythm FM On-Air Personality, Onome Oyaide, popularly called Big Tyme, has  passed away.
The report of his death is coming as a shock to his friends, colleagues, and celebrities in the Nigerian music industry.


While we are yet to know the cause of demise remains, famous singer and songwriter, Darey Art-Alade, has mourned Big Tyme in a post on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday.


“An absolute influence on what we now have as today’s Nigerian Hip Hop and Pop culture. A true gooner, music head, professional broadcaster with a solid voice and an all round good guy. Happy ascension brother Onome Oyaide aka Big Tyme 🕊 this hurts. Love and light, ” Darey wrote. 


Big Tyme’s colleague, OAP Osi Suave also posted a condolence message in, honour of the late presenter.

“Rest well big tyme. I’m glad you lived life and you touched so many while doing it. I’d never forget you my big bro It hurts I won’t lie, it fucking hurts. Sleep with the angels,” Suave wrote.


Rythm FM is yet to release a statement concerning the demise of the OAP, Big Tyme.
